Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 victories have been won on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev won his maiden trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has endured a challenging season, achieving just one win at the major tournaments and experiencing a difficult moment at the US Open.
The player's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his service game in especial - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually splitting with long-time trainer Gilles Cervara.
Now collaborating with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - culminating in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's maiden championship after the Rome competition and first on a hard court since that period of that year.
Success also signifies Medvedev has secured 21 victories at twenty-one different tournaments.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a event with my both daughters together, so to get a title is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The athlete, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his last six title deciders, comprising in the German tournament earlier this year.
The player's retrieving approach and recurring emotional displays on the playing surface had prompted commentators to wonder if his skill to play at the top level was finished.
However the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, attempting to approach the net and compete aggressively, supported by an enhanced service.
The champion came back from a disadvantage in the first set against the challenging Moutet, winning 4 of the last five games to gain the advantage.
The pair swapped service breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden ATP Tour championship, gained dominance to push for a decider.
Moutet rescued 4 initial break points in a competitive deciding set before the Russian won the break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Suitably, Medvedev clinched victory with a rally at the front of the court, with the Frenchman failing to handle a return after over two and a half hours.
